Your questions, answered
How much water does a running toilet waste?
A steadily running toilet can waste 200–400 litres a day — on a water meter that's potentially hundreds of pounds a year. The repair usually costs a fraction of one year's wastage.
Can you fix a concealed cistern without removing tiles?
Usually, yes — concealed cisterns are designed to be serviced through the flush-plate opening. It's fiddly work, but it's work we do regularly.
My toilet blocks repeatedly — why?
Repeat blockages usually mean a partial obstruction further down the pipe, poor pipework fall, or an unsuitable toilet-to-drain connection. We'll diagnose the actual cause rather than just plunging it again.
